Our Promise
We are prepared to match any realistic price structure offered by other driving schools you may have encountered. We do ask that you wholly verify the mentioned prices with some form of genuine hard copy proof. In the event that the price structure is financially viable (i.e we can afford to remain in business!) we will gladly honour that price for you assuming you agree to a minimum block booking of lessons (based on an estimate after an initial pupil assessment of ability).
Prices
In addition, despite fluctuating fuel prices, due to market influence, our prices are constantly reviewed and adjusted appropriately. Based on quality of tuition, and a high pass rate, we believe our prices remain very competitive.
Semi-intensive Course
This is designed for those who wish to train in a short period of time. The course would be programmed according to the individuals' needs, with up to 12 hours tuition per week. This, however, is dependent on availability around other booking commitments and when weekly slots/hours are plentiful. For this program we currently charge £36.00 per hour.
Driving Test
Whether you trained with CDS or not, you may take your test with us after a pre-evaluation of ability. We would require your test booking confirmation in advance. The test day session is typically 2/2.5 hours consisting of an hour of pre-test driving, followed by the test at your local test centre, and a return home. DVSA test fee not included. The session is normally charged at your hourly rate.
Pass Plus
The Pass Plus scheme is aimed at new drivers with newly acquired drivers licences to help build their confidence and experience for independent driving. Your training to attain a full British driving licence follows a relatively comprehensive curriculum, but doesn't cover driving in all weather conditions, motorways, or at night. Pass Plus covers 6 modules comprising of: town driving, all-weather driving, rural driving, night driving, dual-carriageways, motorways. The benefits of completing the course include: expanded confidence and experience, an official DVSA certificate (no further test required), and insurance companies may offer you better insurance rates. Our course usually consists of 6 x 1 hour sessions costing £222.00.
